Little pricey good food
I was staying at a near by motel. I just checked in, so I called Perkins to see if they had some mash potatoes with gravy I could order. I believe the gals name was Jessica. I told her I wojld be right over could she get it ready to pickup. I asked for extra gravy even if it was more money. She said okay. I told her I was only a couple of minutes away I would be right there. So I walked over. When I arrived I waited, not an employee to be found. There were customers but no employees. employees through the front door. The guy went to the back, the gal rang me up then went to the back. I waited about another 5 minutes and this was what I got for $4.27 (down loaded photo). Very dry microwaved mash potatoes with very little gravy. Wasn't worth the trip and all the extra waiting.
Staff is lovely. Food is delicious. Cook time is slightly longer than anticipated. A pretty high use of butter, whew! That being said, the comfort and ambience will add a sense of nostalgia returning you to an 1960-1980's Sunday brunch! A perfect getaway from the hustle & bussle of day to day grind.
