Bad experience. For a hotel like a Fairfield you expect to quickly check in and then have a decent room. Check in took 30 minutes because they were understaffed and over sold. When I got to my room the TV was on but there was no remote so had to call front desk to send one up. After 30 minutes of waiting I called again and was informed nothing had been sent up since there was only 1 person (front desk) working the hotel and I would have to wait until she was free. Had to unplug TV to be able to turn it off and go to sleep. Hotel room was pretty shabby. Also the bed only had the thick firm pillows which bend my neck. Thought to ask if they had different pillows but see earlier point about staffing level. Ended up using a folded up towel as a pillow. I would say avoid if you can, I know I will.
I was there for a business meeting. The breakfast options were nice and tasted good. The woman working that area was very pleasant and accommodating. The public bathroom was clean and the lobby was very well kept.
Fire door leading up the stairs shakes entire rooms during the night, followed By the careless stomping of people up the stairs all night long. All very easily heard from any room near the ends of the hallways. If noise and cramped rooms don't bother you, you have found the perfect place!
Very small room and when I booked my room I asked if I could pay cash and I was told yes. Upon checking in they said no. I didn't have a credit card so the only choice I besides sleeping outside was to use my debit card which now I have 5 over draft fees. They wouldn't work any thing out with my family and I. I was never told I couldn't pay cash. The lady working in the breakfast area wasn't friendly either and the pool closed at10 pm. Really? I will never stay here again!!
This hotel is always clean and has a nice variety of restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast area is clean and offers a good selection of choices.
