Very good product selection in an enormous space. Come organized, ready to shop as this space is a bit large for simply browsing through aisles. Very competitive pricing. The shopping experience may not suit all, but I don't think they can be beat for price/ selection.
I love shopping here. Great low prices. They have a huge selection of items that are almost always in stock unless you shop on a Friday or Saturday, then forget it. The place gets packed then. I see they have where you can order your groceries online or the app and pick them up. Haven't tried that yet, but I'm sure that would come in very handy on a cold, snowy, windy day!
Woodman's - a store I wish I didn't have to go to, but do because the selection is so good. They say they are employee-owned, but I don't often see employees to happy with their business. The ladies at the help desk are always the most pleasant.
The selection is unsurpassed. The produce often rots quickly. The prices are super low on many things. The liquor department is enormous. I wish there was something better, and that the employees appeared happier, and that the signs didn't yell at me.
Why do all of the bright yellow signs yell at me? "DON'T EAT THE CHERRIES OR SPIT YOUR CHERRY PITS IN HERE", "PUT YOUR CORN HUSKS IN THE TRASH", "YOU WILL BE CHARGED IF YOU BREAK THE BROCCOLI STEMS OFF" Can a girl get some kindness? Meijer has some really polite signs if you need some examples.
AWESOME place to shop; they have EVERYTHING & MORE! I LOVE this store, its huge and has a massive variety of products and various food brands! They have self checkout if you prefer to do it yourself & they're employee owned. The only downside, they don't accept credit cards. Cash or chrck and food share are accepted forms of payment.
I really love Woodman's. Not sure if it's the broad selection or reasonable prices, but it's my favorite place to get groceries in the state. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. The only reason I can't give them a fifth star is because of how BUSY they are ALL THE TIME! Seriously, we've been shopping there pretty much any time of day or night you can think of, and there are always lines and tons of people. Easy to put up with for the benefits you get.
